Meet Your Instructors
- Dr. Maria Peters has been in the mental health field for 22 years and has had her own private practice, Mosaic Tree Counseling, for 15 years. As an LPC-Supervisor, she has also mentored many therapists through her doors. Dr. Peters is available for Supervisory and business coaching. Learn more about Dr. Peters and her practice here.
- Tammy Allen is a passionate therapist, owner of Paraklesis Counseling, and published children's book author. Her undergraduate degree is in business administration with a strength in Marketing, and in her first year in private practice, Paraklesis Counseling brought in over six figures. Cancellations and Refunds
- 7 or more days prior to the scheduled course date: Participants may request a full refund, less a $35 administrative processing fee, or a non-refundable course credit (the administrative fee is waived for course credit transfers).
- 2 to 6 days prior to the scheduled course date: Participants are eligible for a non-refundable course credit equal to the amount paid, which may be applied toward a future training offered by Dr. Maria Peters and/or Tammy Allen.
- Within 48 hours of the course or after the course has begun: Registration fees are non-refundable. At the provider’s discretion, a course credit may be issued in cases of extenuating circumstances.
- No-show: If you do not attend the event, registration fees are non-refundable. It is your responsibility to ensure that you know how to get to the venue and to anticipate the necessary travel time and any traffic concerns. At the provider’s discretion, a course credit may be issued in cases of extenuating circumstances.
Course Credits
- Course credits are valid for 12 months from the original course date.
- Credits may be applied to any eligible continuing education training offered by Dr. Maria Peters and/or Tammy Allen.
- Credits are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
Transfers
Participants may request to transfer their registration to a future offering of the same course or another course taught by Dr. Maria Peters and/or Tammy Allen, subject to availability, if the request is made at least 48 hours prior to the course start time.
Attendance and Continuing Education Credit
- Continuing education (CE) credit is awarded only to participants who meet full attendance and participation requirements.
- No partial credit will be awarded.
- Participants who do not attend or do not meet completion requirements are not eligible for CE credit and are not entitled to a refund.
Provider Cancellation
In the event that the workshop is canceled or rescheduled by the hosts, participants will be offered the option to:
- Receive a full refund, or
- Transfer to a future course date
